I have completed 2500 km and I would like to share my the fuel efficiency figures of my 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

I have driven my Maruti Suzuki Dzire like a saint as well as a devil. Despite that the fuel efficiency wouldn’t go below 16 kmpl (I almost cruised at its top speed and drove pedal to metal at other times). The fuel efficiency has been terrific!
Here is a recent data after driving it gentle (mostly 80-90 kmph with occasional 100 kmph while overtaking), 70:30 – Highway : City. 3 on board with AC full time. The car returned a terrific 23.6 kmpl Tankfull to Tankfull
Overall Fuel efficiency over 2500 km – 18.6 kmpl
Having owned Punch 1.2 NA MT for one year and clocked 10000 km on it, & having recorded fuel efficiency all through, the data shows that Dzire 1.2 MT drives 5 km more to a liter of petrol, given the same driving conditions. So, if fuel efficiency is a priority, the maruti is a much better option to choose than the tata.
