Andhra Pradesh assembly speaker constitutes various committees

Vijayawada: On the penultimate day of the legislative assembly budget session, speaker Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu constituted various legislative assembly committees. These include the Committee on Rules, the Committee on Petitions, the Committee of Privileges, the Committee on Govt Assurances, and the Committee on Ethics. Each committee will consist of six members, along with a chairman to lead it.
According to a bulletin issued by secretary general to the State Legislature, Prasanna Kumar Suryadevara, on Thursday, the speaker himself will lead the Rules Committee. The committee members will include Akepati Amarnath Reddy, Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy, Dharmaraju Patsamatla, Gadde Ram Mohan, Kimidi Kala Venkata Rao, and Sujana Chowdary.
Assembly deputy speaker Raghu Rama Krishna Raju will serve as the chairman of the Petitions Committee. The committee members will be Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Gurajala Jagan Mohan, Konathala Rama Krishna, Kotam Reddy Sridhar Reddy, Palla Srinivas Rao, and Vishnu Kumar Raju.
The Privileges Committee will be led by Pithani Satyanarayana as chairman. The members of this committee will include Aditi Vijayalakshmi Gajapati Raju, Bandaru Satyananda Rao, Boggula Dastagiri, Dharmaraju Patsamatla, Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary, and Mamidi Govinda Rao.
Similarly, Kamineni Srinivas will serve as the chairman of the Committee on Govt Assurances. The committee members will be Amilineni Surendra Babu, Damacharla Janardhan Rao, Giddi Satyanarayana, Julakanti Brahmanandam Reddy, Nandyala Varada Rajula Reddy, and Kalidindi Surya Naga Sanyasi Raju.
Furthermore, the Ethics Committee will be led by Mandali Buddha Prasad as chairman. The members of this committee will include Battula Balarama Krishna, Bhashyam Praveen, Buchepalli Siva Prasad Reddy, Jyothula Nehru, Kotla Jaya Surya Prakash Reddy, and Muppidi Venkateswara Rao.
