The 50-19 Boston Celtics embark on their longest road trip of the NBA’s 2024-25 regular season to make the trip to Salt Lake City to face the 16-54 Utah Jazz at their own home court of Delta Center. Both ball clubs have a number of key players out or potentially out as they look to get some rest ahead of the 2025 NBA Playoffs or to get better lottery odds (we’ll let you guess which team is doing what).
The Celtics ought to win this contest easily, but with a long road trip in front of them, it would not be the wildest loss of the last few years if Boston delivered a rare road dud to such an opponent.
Let’s take a look at player health for both teams, likely starters, and how to watch or stream the game.
Player injuries
For the Celtics, Jaylen Brown (knee) and Xavier Tillman Sr. (knee) are out.
For the Jazz, John Collins (ankle), Taylor Hendricks (fibula), Lauri Markannen (personal reasons), and KJ Martin (elbow) are out, and Svi Mykhailiuk (foot) and Jaden Springer (back) are questionable.
