Malayalam cinema is a strange place where hype and excitement are hard to estimate. The same is happening with upcoming Mallu pan Indian film, L2E Empuraan.
The sequel originally had little buzz in other states. The trailer also was just moderately satisfactory one for the other language audience.

But when it comes to the advance bookings, the film is going absolute bonkers. The trends that are being exhibited by the film are beyond ordinary.
On Book My Show, the film exhibited massive trends as it could garner over 90K ticket bookings per hour at one point. This is a massively positive trend that is working wonderfully well for the film.

This is perhaps an indication of the kind of mad hype that is circulating as an undercurrent for the film. The other language audience are also appearing to be waiting eagerly for this mass political actioner.
The hype was grossly underestimated by virtually everyone and that was evident if we look at the hourly booking trends on advance bookings.

The film is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and it has Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran in important roles.
This could very well emerge as the biggest grossing film this March despite the presence of Bollywood star Salman Khan’s Sikander.
