
The H1B lottery is open, but what if a passport is stolen at the last minute before applying? For one applicant, this horror became a reality. Their passport was stolen on March 7 in Colombia at the same time that the lottery opened.
Subsequent to the robbery, a substitute emergency passport has been asked for, yet it will reach there only on the 26th of March. At this point, the H1B lot will close down. It has been very well explained that they must supply the passport which will be used while entering America.
