Vijayawada: A rare incident of two water snakes laying a total of 120 eggs on the outskirts of Markapuram in Prakasam district left the locals stunned. The residents alerted a snake catcher. Responding to the call, snake catcher Niranjan arrived at the location and carefully transferred the eggs, along with the two snakes, to the local forest department office. To ensure proper incubation, he placed the eggs separately in two sand-filled containers inside a secure room at the office.TNN
