Australian cricketer David Warner slams delay in Air India’s flight to Hyderabad; Airline responds-Telangana Today

Hyderabad: Australian cricketer David Warner slammed Air India for delay in departure. The cricketer claimed that the flight made arrangements for boarding however, they had no pilots. The cricketer, who was travelling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad said that he had to wait for long hours due to missing pilots.

“AirIndia we’ve boarded a plane with no pilots and waiting on the plane for hours. Why would you board passengers knowing that you have no pilots for the flight,” the cricketer said on social media platform X.


Responding to the allegations, Air India blamed challenging weather conditions in Bengaluru for the delay.

“Dear Mr. Warner, today’s challenging weather in Bengaluru caused diversions and delays across all airlines. The crew operating your flight was held up on an earlier assignment affected by these disruptions, which led to a delay in departure. We appreciate your patience and that you for choosing to fly with us,” the airlines responded on X.

The cricketer who is making his Tollywood debut with Robinhood, was supposedly travelling to Hyderabad to attend the film’s trailer launch event scheduled on March 23. The film stars Nithiin and Sreeleela in the lead roles.
