Akshay Kumar has been having a rough patch at the box office with his recent films and with his upcoming thriller Kesari Chapter 2, he aims to make a comeback at the box office.
The story revolves around the untold story of the Jalianwala Bagh Massacre and how Lawyer Sankaran Nair fought against the Britishers with his lethal court case against them.

Along with Akshay Kumar, the film also features R Madhavan and Ananya Panday in prominent roles and revolves around heroism and pride as showcased in Kesari (2019).
While the title of the film might attract a lot of fans, the main problem the film will face is the hype and overall publicity.

With its release date scheduled for April 18, the film has no hype or promotional campaigns till now. While the cast looks stacked with a great plot, it needs hype to make it an all-time blockbuster.
The trailer showcases the turmoil and devastating effects of the Jalianwala Bagh Massacre. It further showcases a bold and focused Akshay Kumar as a lawyer calling out Britishers and their excessive dominance.

He also roars with a vicious “F*ck You” when told to cooperate under the Britishers showcasing his heroism and pride.
While fans will certainly connect with the film as it showcases a true story involving pride and patriotism, it remains to be seen if Karan Johar’s effort to showcase a battle of truth will prevail at the cinemas or not.
