Mahindra will soon launch the XUV700 Ebony Edition which features cosmetic changes to the exterior and interior. There are no mechanical changes to the car

Mahindra will soon launch the XUV700 Ebony Edition – a limited edition of the SUV. The Ebony edition is based on the AX7 and AX7L variants of the 7-seater petrol and diesel FWD versions of the XUV700. It features cosmetic changes to the exterior and interior. There are no mechanical changes to the car.

Prices (ex-showroom):

AX7 (7-Seater / FWD)

  • Petrol MT – Rs. 19.64 lakh
  • Petrol AT – Rs. 21.14 lakh
  • Diesel MT – Rs. 20.14 lakh
  • Diesel AT – Rs. 21.79 lakh

AX7 L (7-Seater / FWD)

  • Petrol AT – Rs. 23.34 lakh
  • Diesel MT – Rs. 22.39 lakh
  • Diesel AT – Rs. 24.14 lakh

Available in the Stealth Black paint shade only:

At the front, there is a tweaked radiator grille:

Radiator grille is all black. It loses the silver stripes on its vertical slats. Skid plate is still finished in silver:

On the driver door, you get an “EBONY” badge:

18-inch alloy wheel are finished in black:

No chrome or silver inserts anywhere on the sides:

Apart from the addition of a badge, no changes to the rear:

Another “EBONY” badge on the tailgate:

Like the front, the rear skid plate is finished in silver:

Dashboard is black with contrast white stitching and silver inserts:

Flat-bottom leather-wrapped steering wheel gets contrast white stitching:

Instead of silver, you get dark chrome inserts around the buttons on the steering wheel:

A/C vents get a dark chrome border:

Doorpads are all black with a silver insert. The white wood finish plastic panel around the door handle and seat adjustment buttons has been replaced by a black unit:

Front seat ventilation was added in 2024. Seats get black leatherette upholstery…
