Hyderabad: The India Art Festival (IAF), an affordable art fair held annually in New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai since 2011, is back in Hyderabad for its second edition. The festival will take place at Kings Crown Convention, located at Pillar 68, PV Narasimha Rao Expressway, from April 4 to 6.
The second edition will feature 25 art galleries, showcasing works of 50 master artists, alongside 200 established, mid-career and emerging artists. Visitors will have choices from a diverse array of 3,500 paintings and sculptures to see across various mediums, displayed in 100 air-conditioned booths.
The India Art Festival has hosted 30 editions across New Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Mumbai, so far. The festival’s unique format, which includes both art gallery exhibits and independent artist showcases, has contributed to its growth in scale, quality, and reach over the past decade and a half.
This year’s Hyderabad edition aims to continue the art festival’s mission of democratising art viewing and buying, bringing a rich cultural experience to Hyderabad.
India Art Festival director Rajendra said the India Art Festival provides insightful artworks for city millennials who look for creative works to enhance the ambience of their living spaces. “Art fairs like ours meet this demand by offering a one-stop art shop with thousands of choices under one roof,” he added.
