S Surrender Reddy, demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 30,000

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials caught S Surrender Reddy, an Assistant Engineer in Telangana State Power Development Corporation Limited (TGSPDCL) for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 at his office in Jeedimetla on Thursday.
ACB officials said Reddy allegedly demanded bribe from the complainant in exchange for providing a work estimate to relocate an 11KV line and laying a cable for a building.
The bribe was recovered from him and he was arrested and produced before the ACB for remanding in judicial custody.
