Jana Small Finance Bank, a small finance bank, launched its first branch in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, on Thursday. The new branch will cater to a wide range of banking products and services, including deposits, housing loans, gold loans, secured and unsecured business loans, MSME loans, supply chain finance, and agricultural loans.
The branch was inaugurated by Shyam Sundar Polisetty, Director, Polisetty Somasundaram in the presence of Ajay Kanwal, MD and CEO, Jana Small Finance Bank, other dignitaries and senior officials from the Bank.
Speaking on the occasion, Ajay Kanwal said, “We are thrilled to expand our network in Andhra Pradesh with our first branch in Guntur, a crucial commercial and agricultural hub. This expansion reflects the beginning of our commitment to participate in the State’s growth by providing best-in-class financial services to businesses and individuals.”
With this expansion, Jana Small Finance Bank now operates across 25 states and union territories, with 796 branches, including 32.33% Unbanked Rural Centre (URC’s) branches and employee strength of nearly 25,500 on its payroll.
