Story:
Kerala CM Jatin Ramdas (Tovino Thomas) has decided to step down from the ruling party and set up its own party. He also has Baba Bajrang alias Balaraj (Abhimanyu Singh). His sister Priyadarshani Ramdas (Manju Warrior) does not accept this decision. To improve the circumstances, Qureshi is getting into the field of Abram alias Stephen Nedumpally (Mohanlal). However, he is invalid in a drug donation. With the arrival of Stephen, what about a change in Kerala politics? What is his quarrel with Balaraj? Plus Points:
Prithviraj Sukumaran has presented the film on the grand scale. He made the film beyond expectations. The main strength of the film is the Grandier visuals and huge action sequences.
Mohanlal Screen Presence Next Level. He once again impressed the audience with his own powerful performance. His dialogues are treating the fans while he is silent. His character was well designed. The fight sequence in the forest also impresses the audience.
Manju Warrior was impressed with his role. Tovino Thomas gave a fine performance in his role. However, the role has to be written as a bitter. Prithviraj Sukumaran’s role is low but it is impressive.
The film scored good marks in visual terms. Some scenes such as Church Fight Sequence and Mohanlal Grand Entry have been shown in the Hollywood style grandeur.
Minus Points:
It must be said that the Overall story is not impressive, despite the admirable scenes in the film Empuran. It appears to be more focused on elevating characters than to neret the story. Murali Gopi Writing has some flaws. Depth missed the craze for the Lucifer sequel.
Slow pace in the film is minus the high runtime. Because of this, some fine scenes also appear to have missed the track. The role of Mohanlal is good and the film is in a state of disrepair.
Most of the characters in the film are also minus the film. Not even understanding why there are so many characters. It must be said that Tovino Thomas’s character is not a little suit in the story. Indrajit Sukumaran’s role is similar.
Most of the elements in the story make the audience confuse. The story did not impress the audience with the Slow Pace and Story Confusion. The story may not like the story of all classes as the audience can imagine the pre-climax and climax scenes in advance.
Technical category:
Prithviraj Sukumaran is a direction descent. He appears to be more focused on the elevation of the characters. This is especially the case with Mohanlal Grand entry. The audience would be more connected to the film if it focused on the screenplay.
Sujit Vasudev cinematography work is amazing. His presentation of Grand Visuals in the film is impressive. Deepak Dev Bajim seems to be not. The editing work is a drawback for the film. The story of the film would have been more engaging if many scenes were trimmed. Most of the architectural values are a grandeur. Telugu dubbing impresses audiences.
The verdict:
In the film ‘Empuran’, ‘Empuran’, despite the elevations, the gripping elements and depth in the story are lacking. The story of the film Lucifer seems to have diminished in the film. Although Mohanlal’s character is solid, the slow pace of the story, the high roles and the lengthy runtime have been damaged. The film will be up to Mohanlal fans. If the Common Audience goes to the film with fewer expectations.
