Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) district president and former MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar said that 1,214 acres of land had been identified with local farmers agreeing to provide their agricultural land to organise the party’s Silver Jubilee public meeting at Elkathurthy village in the district.

Speaking to the media persons here on Friday, former Chief Whip Bhaskar said the event would be conducted with elaborate arrangements, including cooling systems, drinking water and buttermilk for attendees to counter heatwave conditions. He claimed that the people were already disillusioned with the Congress government’s ‘false promises’ and were eagerly awaiting BRS national president K. Chandrashekhar Rao’s address.

A venue with a two-lakh seating capacity is being prepared, while 1,054 acres have been allocated for parking with an estimated 50,000 two- and three-wheelers expected. Around 8,000 private and TSRTC buses will be arranged for transportation.

MLC Pochampally Srinivas Reddy stated that the event would mark the culmination of the party’s membership drive and internal elections for village, division and district committees. The details will be submitted to the Election Commission of India. Former MLAs and others were present at the press meet.
