Integrated Ayush research hopsital to come up in Nandigama soon

Vijayawada: The ministry of Ayush will initiate steps to establish a 25 to 50 bed integrated Ayush research hospital in Nandigama of NTR district once the Andhra Pradesh govt submits a proposal in this regard to the Union govt, said minister of Ayush, Mukesh Rajput, in the Lok Sabha.
The minister’s response came in reply to a question by Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) regarding the measures taken by the Centre to establish an Ayush integrated hospital in Nandigama.
Speaking on the occasion, Sivanath said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, over 3,000 Ayush hospitals have been established across the country. In line with this vision, the state govt allocated land to Ayush department in 2018 for a 25-bed integrated Ayush research hospital in the Vijayawada parliamentary constituency.
Sivanath further pointed out that a recent survey showed that about 60 percent of the local population prefers Ayush treatments. In this regard, the MP urged the ministry to take immediate steps to establish the integrated Ayush research hospital in Nandigama, assuring that the Andhra Pradesh govt will submit proposals to the concerned departments accordingly.
