Two students from Kukatpally college arrested while transporting 2.7 kg ganja into the city

Two students transporting 2.7 kg of ganja worth ₹91,000 from Parli in Maharashtra to Hyderabad were arrested at Hafizpet railway station in Miyapur by the Balanagar Special Operations Team (SOT).

The accused were identified as Patibala Venkata Satya Narasimha Swamy, 20 and Gaddi Deepak, 23, both students of Siddhartha Degree and PG College in Kukatpally. According to the police, the duo procured the contraband from a Parli-based supplier MD Amjad, and transported it to Hyderabad by train.

The Miyapur police booked a case and launched an investigation. Efforts are under way to trace Amjad and further links in the drug supply network.
