Vijayawada: In a major infrastructure upgrade at the Bhimavaram town railway station, the South Central Railway (SCR) took up development of the railway station to enhance amenities to passengers at 32 crore under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS).
The railway authorities took up the development of cover over platforms (COPs), improvements to platform surface, construction of premium modern toilets for gents, ladies and disabled, waiting hall, among others
