SunRisers Hyderabad did not even last the full quota of 20 overs. Barring Aniket Verma, none of the others managed to show some intent to stay in the middle. After they were reduced to 37 for 4, Aniket Verma and Heinrich Klaasen added 77 runs for the fifth wicket.
However, Mohit Sharma got the big wicket of Klaasen in the 11th over.
From there on, it was hara-kiri from the SunRisers batters. Aniket kept pummelling the spinners, but he did not have support from the other end.
It was poor tactics from senior batters like Pat Cummins and Abhinav Manohar. Had they lasted those 8 more balls, they could have gone to 180.
How costly is that going to be? Keep in mind, Aniket, who was dropped on 6, single-handedly has given them a decent total.
