Hyderabad: The silver jubilee celebrations of the Bharata Rashtra Samithi (BRS) will be organised overseas as well. Preparations are underway to organise events on the occasion across multiple nations throughout the year, according to BRS NRI coordinator Mahesh Bigala on Sunday.
Attending the Ugadi celebrations organised at Telangana Bhavan, he called on BRS working president KT Rama Rao on the occasion and extended Ugadi greetings on behalf of the NRI community.
The two leaders engaged in discussions on the preparations for the party’s silver jubilee celebrations. The conversation revolved around the 14-year-long struggle, 10 years of governance, and the party’s journey as a symbol of Telangana’s aspirations.
They deliberated on plans for commemorating the BRS party’s 25-year milestone, scheduled for April 27. Representatives from various countries are expected to participate.
Mahesh Bigala said that key BRS leaders would attend these international celebrations. Detailed plans for the events are to be announced in the coming days, he added.
