I am used to the Fortuner with a Ground Clearance of 225 mm, the Jimny has only 210 mm GC hence have ordered OE Underbody protection from Japan

In continuation of my previous observations and concern realised during an expedition off the road I was convinced that my Jimny needed Underbody protection. I personally did not consider any aftermarket options as wanted the car to look and feel as stock and OE as possible hence the only option was to Import JDM spec differential guards from Japan. It’s an official accessory in Japan but unfortunately not available in India.
77R31 (Front Differential Guard);
^ Suzuki Motor Corporation, Made In Japan
^ Fantastic Quality indeed.
77R41 (Rear Differential Guard);
Comes with a proper set of Instructions (In Japanese so had to translate);
& A Spare Wheel Cover;
Installation;
All above JDM parts were Installed at Mkraft design in Mumbai.
The Differential Guards came with their individual brackets, bolts, washers etc.
Differential Oil has to be drained out as per instructions;
Done;
Same procedure was conducted for the rear;
& the diff. oil was refilled back in;
Done;
With this I also imported a Rhino Sticker/Emblem from the Rhino Edition to complement the spare wheel cover;
Final Look;
Total Cost Including Freight & Duty/Clearance was around INR 50k for all the parts.
