Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, Ministers Konda Surekha and Ponnam Prabhakar along with party leaders and legislators left for New Delhi to participate in the BC protest rally on Wednesday.
Mr. Goud, Mr. Ponnam and MS. Surekha Ali with Mlass – Beerala Ailaiah, Srihari, ADI Srinivas, Shankaraiah, Prakash Goud and Makhan Singh Ra Thakur – Went Together.
The BC organisations have given a call to hold protest demonstration at Jantar Mantar on Wednesday demanding that the Bill passed in the State Legislature for 42% reservation for backward classes in education, employment and local bodies should be approved in Parliament also.
After the dharna programme, the State BC leaders, Ministers and others will be calling on central Ministers and others to impress upon the urgency to take it up in Parliament also.
