The South Central Railway (SCR), Vijayawada division, achieved its highest-ever freight loading, revenue, and punctuality in the financial year 2024-25. The gross revenue of the division was ₹5,836.61 crore, the highest-ever in the history of Vijayawada division.
The originating freight loading of the division was 38.322 million tonnes (MT), creating a revenue of ₹4,239.74 crore. Passenger revenue was ₹1,386.14 crore, other coaching revenue was ₹111.70 crore and sundry revenue was ₹99 crore, the SCR officials said on Tuesday.
Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Narendra A. Patil congratulated the freight customers, passengers and the officers of various wings for the achievement.
