HMWSSB managing director Ashok Reddy says the tanker booking pendency has increased in some areas due to consecutive holidays and festivals

Hyderabad: Taking note of the increased pendency of water tanker bookings in some areas, the Hyderabad Metro Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) managing director, Ashok Reddy, instructed the officials to arrange extra work hours to clear the pendency.
Ashok Reddy, who held a meeting with officials on Tuesday, said that due to consecutive holidays and festivals, the tanker booking pendency has increased in some areas. Though tanker bookings did not increase much, as the drivers went on vacation, more than a hundred tanker pendency has increased in Sheikhpet, Shapurnagar, Budvel, Asifnagar, NTR Nagar, Bhavani Nagar, Chilakalguda, Shapurnagar-2, Moula Ali, Gajularamaram, Erragadda, Gachibowli-2, Vengalrao Nagar, Yellareddyguda, Venkatagiri filling stations.
He instructed the officials to arrange to work extra hours for the next two days to deliver these pending tankers. The officers were asked to arrange to deliver tankers in two shifts and make arrangements to supply water accordingly. He instructed the officials to arrange to deliver tankers for domestic needs during the day and for commercial needs at night.
