The car sails through rough patches comfortably reaffirming that its suspension is fine-tuned and one level above its elder sibling, the Skoda Kushaq.

In a gap of 3 days, I did a TD of Prestige AT on Mysore Road and also a practicality check of Kylaq fitting my parking space.
Below are some observations:
- Brakes are powerful.
- City drive is effortless, no jerk felt either during acceleration or deceleration as long as light foot is involved. As soon you press hard on the A pedal, the power delivery becomes instant.
- Hill hold really works! On an incline in Drive mode when the foot is removed from the brake pedal, the vehicle remains stationary for a moment, I think around 4-5 seconds and then creeps forward. SA informed this works even with full load and they have got it tested. Gives such a peace of mind for drives in ghats with steep inclines.
- Sunroof can be adjusted to just act as a small ventilator with a small gap that gets created at its rear when the sunroof close button is held ON even after it gets closed.
- Sails through rough patches comfortably reaffirming that its suspension is fine-tuned and one level above its elder sibling, Kushaq.
- And finally it fits into my parking spot & I was happy! But not as easy as my Punto does considering increased overall dimensions. Front parking sensors would definitely help me here since even the driveway is also not that wide.
A pick below from the parking lot, Punto got shifted to another owner’s lot to simulate a real-time scenario:
