Vijayawada: Five NDA leaders from the ruling TDP, JSP and BJP took the oath as MLCs on Wednesday. Somu Veerraju, BT Naidu, Konidala Nagendra Rao (Naga Babu), Perabathula Rajasekhar, and Alapati Rajendra Prasad were sworn in as the new MLCs of the state legislative council. The oath-taking ceremony was held in the council chairman’s chamber, where chairman Koyye Moshen Raju administered the oath to the five newly elected MLCs under the MLA quota. Agriculture minister K Atchen Naidu, Assembly secretary general Suryadevara Prasanna Kumar, deputy secretary Raj Kumar, NDA MLAs, and other leaders were present at the ceremony. tnn
