
Has senior Congress leader Jana Reddy put a check to the aspirations of Munugodu MLA Komatireddy Rajagopala Reddy? As a member of Komatireddy family is already in the cabinet, is Jana Reddy trying to stop the other? Is a cold war brewing in Nalgonda? Then the answer for all questions is a big yes.
The letter by Jana Reddy to the High Command has become a point of discussion in Congress political circles. Jana Reddy had mentioned in his letter that Rangareddy and Hyderabad should be represented in the cabinet.

Jana Reddy wrote to Kharge and KC Venugopal saying that such a move would lead to progress of Congress party and overall development of Telangana.
In this scenario, Ibrahimpatnam MLA Malreddy Rangareddy and Rammohan Reddy from Parigi are in the race. But it is known that Malreddy has been asking for a cabinet berth for quite sometime as he is the only MLA to have won from Hyderabad.

In fact, it is being said that Jana Reddy wrote the letter for Malreddy and to make sure Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy is out of the equation. Usually, Jana Reddy refrains from writing to the High Command. However, his letter has shocked even the seniors in Telangana Congress.
Recently, CM Revanth Reddy with his team went to Delhi to meet the High Command and discussed about cabinet expansion. Four names came out following the meeting – Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, Vivek, Vakati Srihari and P Sudarshan Reddy.

Now, if Malreddy is given a berth, Rajagopal Reddy will be out of the race. Meanwhile, there was talk that CM had taken appointment from the Governor on April 3 for cabinet expansion.
But the twist is that Rahul Gandhi is said to be dissatisfied with some names. It is said that he is unhappy with the idea of both Komatireddy brothers being in the cabinet at the same time. The talk is that he has asked for the expansion to be stalled till he takes a final decision.
So, one again, the party is working on a new list and two new names have emerged.
