Vijayawada: The city is set to receive a unique brand identity through an innovative title contest initiated by the NTR district administration.
The district administration has announced a competition inviting residents and enthusiasts to propose a distinctive brand title and tag line for the city. The aim is to enhance the city’s recognition and attract both domestic and international tourists.
Known for its rich history and prominence in education, medicine, industry, and cultural arts, Vijayawada plays a crucial role in Andhra Pradesh’s development. As the number of foreign tourists visiting Amaravati is increasing, the district administration believes that establishing a strong brand identity would further boost tourism and investment opportunities in Vijayawada. Participants must provide a rationale for their suggested title, ensuring it reflects the city’s significance and heritage. Following the title contest, a logo design competition will also be held.
Winners of the competition will receive official certificates and prizes, and their proposed title will be permanently associated with Vijayawada’s identity. NTR district collector Dr Lakshmisha urged the public to utilise of this opportunity, emphasizing that the selected title will leave a lasting legacy.
