TIRUPATI: Andhra Pradesh minister for industries, commerce and food processing TG Bharath met union railways minister Ashwini Vaishnav at the national capital New Delhi and urged for the launch of new train services linking Kurnool to Mumbai and Vijayawada.
TG Bharath drew the attention of the union railways minister to the industrial progress envisaged in and around Orvakal in Kurnool district, which is being transformed into a major industrial hub in the country with the support of the double engine govts in Andhra Pradesh and at the centre.
AP industries minister explained to Ashwini Vaishnav about the need to create the best of road, rail and air connectivity to Kurnool district to further boost it’s industrial progress and urged the union railways ministry to accord the necessary approvals for launching new train services linking Kurnool district to the rest of the country.
