Students of the CMR Engineering College experienced tense moments when one of their friends collapsed while playing cricket in the ground in Hyderabad on Friday.
The student, belonging to Khammam district and studying final year B.Tech, was fielding in the tournament match organized by the college.
He was disappointed after failing to catch the ball hit by one of the players at the crease and suddenly collapsed on the ground.
The unprecedented development shocked the students and others viewing the match.
Soon they gathered at the place and shifted him to the hospital where the doctors declared that he was brought dead.
His friends, who witnessed the death, were devastated over the sudden absence of their college mate among them.
Abrupt endings bring immense grief to all those associated with the person. His parents and kin were also shocked over the sudden death.
