Vijayawada: Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who chaired the 46th meeting of Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) on Saturday, approved the proposal to issue a letter of acceptance to the L1 bidders for the iconic assembly and high court buildings. The assembly building will have a built-up area of 1.122 million square feet and a height of 250 meters. The built-up area of the high court building will be 2.032 million square feet with a height of 55 meters. While L&T stood as L1 for the assembly building, NCC bagged the tenders for the high court, according to sources. The CRDA commissioner has been asked to approach various financial institutions and raise funds to complete the works in Amaravati.
