A stunning win for Max Verstappen, who claims victory in Suzuka!

He comes home in first, over a second ahead of Lando Norris in second with Oscar Piastri in third on his birthday!

And Verstappen sealed it with his pole-setting lap on Saturday!

4-10: Leclerc, Russell, Antonelli, Hamilton, Hadjar, Albon, Bearman

It’s not done yet then!

Piastri is 0.6 seconds off his teammate Norris, who is 1.4 seconds off Verstappen.

Piastri: “I have the pace to get Max.”

Looks like Norris is trying to conserve his tyres…

Verstappen re-takes the lead as Antonelli takes his pit-stop to avoid a Hamilton undercut – a 3.1 second stop and Antonelli is back out in sixth, where he started, with a three-second lead on Hamilton.
