In connection with Jummat-ul-Vida (last Friday of the Ramzan month) prayers at Mecca Masjid, Charminar, the main roads from Charminar towards Madina, Murgichowk, and Shalibanda will be closed for all types of vehicular traffic from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM on 28 March 2025. Traffic will be diverted at the following points:
A. South Zone:
Madina Junction: Traffic coming from the Nayapul side towards Charminar will be diverted at Madina Junction towards City College.
Himmatpura: Traffic coming from Nagulchintha and Shalibanda areas towards Charminar will be diverted at Himmatpura Junction, towards Haribowli and Volga Hotel T Junction (Khilwat side).
Chowk Maidan Kaman: Traffic coming from Chowk Maidan towards Charminar will be diverted towards Kotla Alizaar and Moghalpura sides.
Motigalli: Traffic from the Moosabowli areas towards Charminar will be diverted at Motigalli towards Khilwat Ground, Rajesh Medical Hall Shalibanda, and Fathe Darwaza Road.
Etebar Chowk: Traffic coming from the Etebar Chowk areas towards Gulzar House will be diverted at Etebar Chowk towards Mandi Mirlam Market or Bibi Bazaar.
Sher-e-Batil Kaman: Traffic from Mitti Ka Sher will not be allowed towards Gulzar House and will be diverted from Mitti-ke-Sher Junction towards Ghansi Bazaar to reach High Court Road / Khilwat.
Lakkad Kote (Old CP Office Junction): Traffic coming from the APAT side will be diverted at Lakkad Kote and sent towards the Old CP Office lane, towards Mandi Mirlam Market (on a need basis).
Parking Places in the Limits of Traffic South Zone:
Gulzar Function Hall: Devotees coming from Madina, Pathargatti, will park their vehicles at Gulzar Function Hall. (The Inspector of Traffic PS Mirchowk will oversee parking arrangements.)
Mufeedul Anam Ground Parking: Devotees from Yakuthpura, Noorkhan Bazaar, Talabkatta, and Dabeerpura will park at Mufeedul Anam Grounds. (The Inspector of Traffic PS Mirchowk will oversee parking arrangements.)
Charminar Bus Terminal Parking: Devotees from Chandrayangutta and Falaknuma areas will park at the Charminar Bus Terminal. (The Inspector of Traffic PS Charminar will oversee parking arrangements.)
A.U Hospital Parking: Devotees from Santosh Nagar, Talab Katta, and Moghalpura will park at AU Hospital Parking. (The Inspector of Traffic PS Charminar will oversee parking arrangements.)
Khilwat Ground Parking: Devotees from Misrigunj, Fathe Darwaza, Hussainialam, and Puranapool will park at Khilwat Ground. (The Inspector of Traffic PS Falaknuma will oversee parking arrangements.)
Old Pension Office / URDU MaskanOpp: Chowmohalla Palace: Vehicles from the western side of Mecca Masjid, i.e., Kishanbagh, Bahadurpura, and Hussani Alam, will park at the above locations. (The Inspector of Traffic PS Charminar will oversee parking arrangements.)
GHMC Office Sardar Mahal: Reserved for vehicle parking for police officers on duty.
These traffic restrictions will also apply to RTC buses. City buses heading towards Charminar will be terminated at Afzalgunj Bus Stop. RTC buses heading towards districts via Nayapul, Madina from MGBS, and Imlibun will proceed via Chadarght Rotary, Nalgonda X, Chanchalguda, Saidabad T Junction, I.S. Sadan, DMRL Junction, Midhani Junction, MBNR Flyover, Bandlaguda, and towards Aramghar.
B. North Zone:
Subhash Road, Secunderabad: Between Mahankali L&O PS and Old Ramgopalpet PS Junction on the MG Road, vehicular traffic will be closed from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Traffic will be diverted at Rocha Bazaar towards Ranigunj and Paradise Junction.
Traffic from Bata X Roads towards Subhash Road: Will be diverted at Mahankali L&O PS towards the lane to the left of the Mahankali L&O PS and towards Lala Temple.
