Working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) K.T. Rama Rao has observed that there was a huge conspiracy to gobble-up the 400-acre land parcel at Kancha Gachibowli, and both the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) were hand-in-glove to monetise it.

KTR said that he would reveal the details of the ‘conspiracy’ involving Congress leaders and a BJP MP within 2-3 days, in an informal chat with newspersons here on Tuesday. “The Congress Government was trying to escape the responsibility of illegal felling of trees and culling of animals in the name of AI videos,” he said.

Joint CM of Cong., BJP

Alleging that A. Revanth Reddy was the joint Chief Minister of Congress and BJP in Telangana, the BRS leader wished him to be the number one Chief Minister in the country as he had the blessings of the two parties. While one leader in the State was carrying footwear of the Central leadership, another was carrying (cash) bags from the State, he alleged.

Dozens of visits to Delhi by the Chief Minister had failed both in getting any funds or projects to the State and he was not even allowed to expand his Cabinet even after 16-17 months into the office. As the Chief Minister was unable to control the government and the party properly, AICC in-charge of party affairs in Telangana Meenakshi Natarajan was holding a review meeting at the Secretariat itself.

Stating that Andhra Pradesh was resorting to Krishna and Godavari water diversion indiscriminately, he said that the Telangana Government had preferred to appoint a former bureaucrat, who had worked for AP and argued in its favour, as the Irrigation Adviser. Mr. Rama Rao sought to know whether the bureaucrat was roped in to protect the interests of AP or Telangana.

Mr. Rama Rao said BRS was only the second regional party after TDP in the Telugu-speaking States to complete 25 years and the silver jubilee fete of BRS was being organised on a large scale and it would be continued for a year.

They had chosen Elkaturthi near Warangal for the public meeting to avoid any inconvenience to the general public and those attending the BRS event on April 27.

He added that the party had requested the TGSRTC to arrange 3,000 buses on hire to bring BRS ranks and supporters to the event as April 27 was a Sunday and commuting by different sections would be very low.
