Samsung has launched three new gaming monitors in India. They are the Odyssey 3D, Odyssey OLED G8, and Odyssey G9. These monitors were first showcased at CES 2025 earlier this year, and they have now finally reached India for gaming enthusiasts.
Odyssey 3D, Odyssey OLED G8, and Odyssey OLED G9 pricing in India
India is one of the first countries where Samsung launched the Odyssey 3D gaming monitor. It is priced at INR 127,299 (~$1,477) and is available in Silver color.
The Odyssey OLED G8 costs INR 91,299 (~$1,070) for the 27-inch version and INR 118,999 (~$1,380) for the 32-inch version. Samsung has priced the Odyssey G9 at INR 94,099 (~$1,090).
All three monitors are available for purchase from Samsung’s online store starting today. The Odyssey 3D is also available through Amazon India’s website.
Odyssey 3D features and specifications
The Odyssey 3D is a gaming monitor offers three-dimensional visuals without a need for 3D glasses. It does that by tracking a user’s eyes using its front-facing cameras and view mapping algorithms. It has a 4K IPS LCD screen with a 165Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium, Nvidia G-Sync Compatible, 350 nits peak brightness, HDR10, and HDR10+ Gaming. It has built-in stereo speakers (5W x2).
The monitor has two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, two USB 3.1 ports, and one USB Type-B port. It has a height adjustable stand with pivot and tilt adjustments.
Odyssey OLED G8 features and specifications
The new Odyssey OLED G8 gaming monitor comes in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes. Both variants feature 4K QD-OLED panels with a 240Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400, and 260 nits typical brightness. It has AMD FreeSync Premium Pro but no Nvidia G-Sync Compatible.
It has two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, two USB 3.1 Type-A ports, one USB Type-B port, and a headphone port. It has a height adjustable stand that supports pivot, swivel, and tilt adjustments. It is compatible with VESA 100×100 mounts and stands.
Odyssey G9 features and specifications
The Odyssey G9 has a 49-inch curved VA LCD panel with 5,120 x 1,440 pixels resolution, a 32:9 aspect ratio, a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, VESA DisplayHDR 600, and 350 nits brightness. Thanks to its Mini LED backlighting, the monitor has a 2,500:1 contrast ratio. It has AMD FreeSync Premium Pro but no Nvidia G-Sync.
