Hyderabad: In today’s times, hair fall and baldness have become common problems. In such circumstances, if someone claims to have a miraculous cure for it, a crowd of people is bound to gather. Something similar unfolded in Hyderabad when a barber claimed to have created a lotion that could regrow hair even on a bald head.

His bold claim quickly sparked a buzz across the city. Soon, a massive crowd gathered outside his shop, hoping to get their hands on the miracle product. The situation went out of control, forcing the barber to flee the scene.

The barber, named Vakil Salmani, had come from Delhi to the Chandulal area of Hyderabad. He claimed to have a miraculous formula that could trigger hair regrowth. The news spread like wildfire across the city.

At the ‘Big Boss Salon’-a shop located on Fateh Darwaza Road-Salmani would first shave the heads of his bald customers and then apply a white lotion using a brush. He strictly instructed them not to use soap, shampoo, or oil for three days, so the medicine could take full effect.

Dream Turned Into Despair

According to locals, more than 500 people showed up for the treatment. However, some of them began experiencing headaches and other health issues, and had to be taken to the hospital.

As the situation worsened, Salmani shut down the salon and vanished without a trace.
