Hyderabad: A major fire broke out in a recycling unit at Prashanthnagar, Kukatpally in the city on Thursday morning. No casualties were reported.

According to the fire officials, the fire broke out at a copper recycling unit located at Prashanthnagar.


On information three fire tenders from nearby fire stations rushed to the spot and put off the fire. The officials suspect the fire started due to a short circuit. However, the exact cause is being ascertained.

The financial loss is being ascertained.
