The new system to book online slots to register property documents in around 15 minutes was launched at 22 Telangana Sub-Registrar Offices (SRO) on Thursday (April 10, 2025). On the first day, 626 people booked the slots, said the Revenue (Registrations & Stamps) Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy.
There are 144 SROs in the State. It was introduced at the 22 SROs on a pilot project basis. The way forward would be decided on how the system rolls out. The Minister directed officials to spread awareness about the facility among people.
The option to book the slots was available at https://registration.telangana.gov.in./ under the category ‘Pre Registration (Slot booking for pilot 22 SROs)’. A user manual too was available. The Minister said that people can book the slot at a date and time of their convenience. Buyers, sellers and witnesses can all reach on the time for the process. He said that the system will put an end to influence of middlemen.
The Registration and Stamp department’s DIGs in Hyderabad (N. Saidi Reddy), Rangareddy (S.D. Twinkle Joan) and Medchal-Malkajgiri (G. Madhusudhan Reddy) handed over the documents to people who completed the registration after booking the slots.
