The first installment of this two-part epic, titled Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Sword vs Spirit, is officially slated for a grand theatrical release on May 9, 2025, in multiple languages. However, as the date draws closer, questions around the film’s release are beginning to surface.
With just 30 days to go, fans have started expressing concern over the limited promotional activity. Notably, there hasn’t been a countdown poster or major update to mark the final stretch. Meanwhile, a few portions involving Pawan Kalyan reportedly remain to be completed. The actor is currently in Singapore, attending to his son, who was recently injured in a fire accident—an understandably emotional and private time for the family.
Adding to the buzz, there are social media reports suggesting that the film’s digital partner, Amazon Prime Video, may reconsider or revise its OTT deal if the release is postponed—though there’s been no official confirmation on this.
While the film is said to be in the final leg of post-production, including dubbing and technical work, promotional efforts remain key in building anticipation among audiences across regions.
