Hyderabad: The sleuths of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught three people, including the Bhadrachalam Town inspector, for allegedly demanding and accepting bribe from a lorry driver. According to officials, during vehicle checking, the police stopped a lorry loaded with gravel and brought it to the police station.
Accused of violating the rules, the inspector demanded the driver to pay Rs 20,000 as a bribe. And it was his gunman who dealt with the driver. Later, the complainant was told to transfer the money into the bank account of a private person. The complainant approached the ACB, who booked a criminal case and arrested the three persons.
