Hyderabad: GHMC commissioner K Ilambhariti said the corporation had collected a record Rs.2,038 crore in property tax for 2024-25. This was Rs.121 crore over the previous year. “The field officers did a great job,” he said at an event to felicitate revenue staff, bill collectors, tax inspectors, AMCs, and deputy commissioners.
The commissioner said that the one-time settlement (OTS) scheme for pending property tax had given good results.
He said the property tax collection target for the upcoming financial year had been set at Rs.3,000 crore.
