JSW MG Motor India is gearing up to launch three models in the coming months, including the Majestor SUV, M9 electric luxury MPV and Cybester electric sportscar. Recently, the production-ready MG Majestor premium three-row SUV was spied with a semi-camouflage during its test rounds. It’s a premium version of the updated Gloster SUV, which directly competes with the Toyota Fortuner.
Check out what all details the spy images reveal.

The rear profile of the SUV is clearly visible, featuring connected taillamps, dual polygonal exhaust pipe in chrome finish, sporty bumper, a small roof-mounted spoiler and a flat boot lid. It also has conventional door handles, pronounced wheel arches, wide running boards and a larger window for the second row passengers.
Compared to the Gloster, the MG Majestor has a slightly larger MG logo placed in the centre of the grille. Design elements such as a large blacked-out grille with horizontal slats, slim LED DRLs, headlamps with split setup, silver bash plate and black cladding running across its length at the front further differentiate both models. The blacked-out roof and A, B and C pillars might also be retained to the final model.
Interior and safety features:
The interior of the Majestor is yet to be revealed. However, it’s expected to come with all-black theme and features such as a 12.3-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, driver seat with a massaging function, ventilated and heated seats, a large digital instrument cluster, multi zone climate control, wireless phone charger, a panoramic sunroof and more.
On the safety front, the new MG 7-seater SUV will offer Level 2 ADAS along with the electronic parking brake, hill hold control, hill descent control, six airbags, electronic stability program, a 360 degree camera, roll movement intervention, driver fatigue warning, traction control, etc.
Under the hood!
The MG Majestor SUV is likely to borrow the 2.0L, 4-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine from the Gloster. This oil burner, with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, generates a maximum power of 216bhp and 479Nm of torque. It will come with a 4X4 drivetrain system and three lockable differentials.
