Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy condoled the passing away of Padma Shri Vanajeevi Ramaiah.
The Chief Minister said that Daripalli Ramaiah, popularly known as Vanajeevi, strongly believed that survival of mankind is impossible without nature and environment.

“Ramaiah launched plantation as an individual and influenced the entire society’, the CM said that the Padma Shri awardee inspired the youth by dedicating entire life to environmental protection. The Chief Minister said the demise of Vanajeevi is an irreparable loss to the society and conveyed deep sympathies to the bereaved family members.
Former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao said Vanajeevi Ramaiah’s demise was an irreparable loss for the State. He recalled how the tree man’s contribution also inspired the then BRS Government’s Haritha Haram project on massive tree plantation. He said the contribution of Vanajeevi Ramaiah should be an inspiration for the future generations.
Union Minister for Coal and Mines, G. Kishan Reddy said Ramaiah was at the forefront of forefront of protecting and furthering nature and environment. His dedication and contribution towards the same will continue to inspire, he said.
Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Danasari Anusuya, Jupalli Krishna Rao, TPCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud and others Condoled the untime of ramaiah.
