Telangana mega job mela: Stampede-like situation near Warangal railway station, 3 injured

WARANGAL: A huge turnout for the Mega Job Mela led to a stampede-like situation near Warangal railway station on Friday.
Three women sustained minor injuries and were rushed to the MGM Hospital in Warangal for treatment. According to police officials, the huge turnout for the job mela was the main reason behind the incident.
The situation was such that the unemployed youth jostled with each other to enter the premises. Around 60 companies participated in the job mela to fill 11,000 vacancies.
Earlier, Endowment Minister Konda Surekha and Panchayat Raj Minister Danasari Anasuya alais Seethakka inaugurated the job mela on Friday.
