Hyderabad: Former minister T Harish Rao questioned Congress leaders, asking why they had received political appointments while the unemployed had not been given govt jobs. Speaking at a BRS youth and student meeting, he urged students to ensure the success of the BRS Silver Jubilee celebrations. He remarked that young students are the heart of the pink flag.
The BRS MLA criticised Congress’ claim of providing two lakh jobs annually as false, stating that while they claim to have filled 55,000 posts, fewer than 6,000 have actually been filled. He also accused the Congress govt of deceiving unemployed youth by making empty promises of two lakh jobs, using them for political gain, and then abandoning them under the guise of false affection.
He also questioned why Rahul Gandhi was brought to Ashok Nagar to make such promises, pointing out that while Congress leaders secured positions, the unemployed were left behind.
