SBI Chairman Challa Sreenivasulu Setty flags off electric vehicles donated to Yadagirigutta temple as part of the CSR initiative.
Hyderabad: Chairman, State Bank of India (SBI), Challa Sreenivasulu Setty on Monday during a visit to Yadagirigutta temple donated two electric vehicles as part of bank’s CSR initiative. The EV vehicles are specifically intended to assist senior citizens, women, and persons with disabilities, ensuring their convenience and comfort while navigating the temple premises.
Challa Sreenivasulu Setty emphasised the importance of such initiatives in fostering inclusivity and supporting the needs of diverse groups within society. He expressed pride in SBI’s role in contributing to the well-being of communities through meaningful CSR activities.
Rajesh Kumar, Chief General Manager, Hyderabad Circle, stated that these battery-operated vehicles align with SBI’s vision of promoting sustainable practices while enhancing the experience of devotees visiting the temple.
The temple’s Executive Officer (EO), A Bhaskara Rao, extended heartfelt gratitude to SBI for their thoughtful contribution. He acknowledged the positive impact these vehicles would have on the temple’s visitors, particularly those who require additional support.
