The state government announced that it would host the Bharat Summit, which will take place on April 25 and 26 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC). The two-day summit, being organised in collaboration with the Samruddha Bharat Foundation, marks the 70th anniversary of the Bandung Conference — widely regarded as the cornerstone of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).

The summit is expected to host over 450 international delegates from more than 100 countries, encompassing ministers, parliamentarians, policymakers, corporate leaders, academics, and civil society activists. It will also witness participation from 25 global think tanks and representatives of nearly 100 progressive political parties.
