Hyderabad:Telangana secured the first rank on performance policing, as per the India Justice Report. The state was ranked third last year, said DGP Dr Jitender.
The ranking is based on 32 performance indicators, said stated.
This achievement reflects the consistent efforts and dedication of the police department in delivering effective policing and ensuring public safety, a press release issued by the DGP’s office said.
Among the large states, Telangana with 6.48 points was followed by Andhra Pradesh, . Karnataka, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra.
