Four Arrested In Warangal Hi-tech Prostitution Racket

Hyderabad: A city Task Force team raided a house in Narsampet on Thursday, arresting four people and rescuing two women in what police described as a “hi-tech” prostitution racket.

Those held are Koyyala Ramesh (35), Koyyala Nithin (19), Kesanapalli Vikram (36) and the alleged organiser, Ginnarapu Uma (30). Investigators say Uma lured women from other areas with job promises and forced them into sex work.

Officers seized five mobile phones, ₹2,750 in cash, 1,000 condom packets, a motorcycle and 29 HIV diagnostic kits.

Task Force ACP A. Madhusudan said organisers face prosecution under the Preventive Detention Act if they are repeat offenders. The raid was led by inspector K. Sridhar with ASI Rajeswari and a six-member team.

Police said further investigation is under way to identify additional accomplices and victims.
