Hyderabad: The Hyderabad traffic police on Thursday informed that Tarnaka junction, which was previously closed, will be re-opened for vehicular movement from Osmania University towards Lalapet and vice versa on a trial basis.
The trial run will be conducted for 15 days, starting from April 18 to May 2. The following routes where traffic is allowed: From Osmania University: The traffic coming from Osmania University will be allowed to proceed straight towards Lalapet and take a right turn towards Habsiguda.
From Lalapet: The traffic coming from Lalapet will be allowed to proceed straight towards Osmania University and take a right turn towards Mettuguda.
The following routes where traffic is not allowed: From Mettuguda: The traffic will not be allowed to take a right turn towards Osmania University. Instead of, vehicles should proceed straight towards Huda Complex, Tarnaka and take U turn and then take a left turn at Tarnaka towards Osmania University.
From Habsiguda: The traffic will not be allowed to take a right turn towards Lalapet and should proceed straight towards IRISET and take ‘U’ turn and then take a left turn at Tarnaka junction towards Lalapet.
The traffic police requested the people to take note of changes and co-operate with them during the trial period.
