Kamareddy: Two government teachers from a Zilla Parishad High School in Ramareddy mandal were arrested on Thursday for allegedly sexually abusing minor girl students.
Police acted after several students lodged complaints with the district SHE Teams; an inquiry led to a case being registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The accused were produced before a magistrate and remanded in judicial custody.
Because of the case’s sensitivity, police have withheld the names of the school, the teachers, and the victims. The latest arrests follow the detention of a physical education instructor in the same mandal last week on similar POCSO charges.
